Corsair H115i & HD140 RGB Fans Review

When building a new PC you have several options available to you for choosing the right parts. One of the most important is cooling and you can stick with stock, upgrade air, choose water, or even do a custom loop. Air cooling is still popular but there is something about the look of watercooling and the performance it brings. Liquid cooling is more important than ever with the amount of heat that computers can generate, and custom liquid cooling loops will always reign supreme, but they are expensive and complicated. AIO (All In One) solutions offer easy installation and maintenance free watercooling for everyone.

Corsair is a major competitor and one the first companies to bring mainstream watercooling to everyone. Today we will be looking at their H115i and their HD140 RGB system fans. MyDigitalSSD is a company that is well-known for high-performance SSDs at an affordable price. Today we will be looking at their BP5e drive line which offers Toshiba’s 15nm TLC flash. TLC flash is going to be a good budget point for many systems builders because what makes TLC SSDs competitive lately and worth your time is SLC caching. By using TLC flash it drives the cost down of an SSD and with SLC caching helps the drive perform at levels we can expect from an SSD. Does the BP5e have what it takes with its 15nm Toshiba flash to stand out against other SSDs on the market?

Netgear is a company that has been innovating networking products for home users and businesses for many years. They make connecting with people easy and improve with each new release. They even boast of having the world’s fastest router, both for streamers and gamers alike. Today we will be looking at the Nighthawk X10.

I have reviewed quite a bit of 802.11 routers lately including Mesh networking systems and newer tri-band routers. With the release of the Nighthawk x10 though, this is something new to the industry as it is the first 802.11ad router. The big fuss about 802.11ad is it offers 2.4GHZ & 5GHZ AC wireless but it can also operate on a 60GHz band, This can theoretically deliver up to 7GBs across all three. Let’s see if the new ad technology can help deliver real world performance improvements over Wireless AC technology.

Ryzen has become extremely popular and for good reason. It doesn’t surprise me with all the free upgrade kits being offered by manufacturers to upgrade their customers existing coolers. Thermaltake has taken a different approach and offered a cooler to rule all socket types. They are offering a budget cooling solution to combat against the CoolerMaster Hyper 212 Evo with AM4 and LGA 1151 support.  This makes the silent 12 very versatile and also offers a low premium price.
