OCZ TL100 Review

The SSD marketplace offers a wide variety of products in various budget ranges. OCZ has created a product called the TL series that won’t necessarily win any awards for speed or capacity but rather win over the budget oriented crowd. This is a key to winning over competitors in this entry level area with the high demand for SSDs for all various levels of consumers.

With the launch of 3d NAND, this has promised a massive price drop in the SSD market. The previous generation of TLC planar NAND has evolved the SSD market dramatically since then. Since Toshibas OCZ products have not adopted 3d NAND yet this actually creates a good opportunity for them to improve in other areas of their SSD products.

Today I will be looking at their value oriented SSD the TL100 series which is an important product for its low cost in this SSD mass market. Will the Tl100 prove to stand out due to price? We shall see if OCZ has the price to performance ratio required for customers to make the jump to an SSD.

Thermaltake has taken a strong hold on the peripheral market with their Tt eSports set of peripherals. Tt eSports is a division of Thermaltake dedicated to bringing out the most personalized and highest quality gear for competitive gaming. Gaming headphones today are a dime a dozen and companies need to pay extra special attention to detail, software, and comfort. Most gaming headsets are labeled gaming due to their technology offerings giving gamers an advantage and being more immersed in your favorite games.

Most “gaming” headsets will have similar features if they are any good and want decent sound. Today I will be looking at another headset review with RGB lighting and 7.1 surround sound called the Cronos RGB. Let’s see if the Cronus can stand out against the competition between visual illumination, comfort, and premium virtual sound performance.

Phanteks Enthoo Evolv ATX Glass Review

Phantek logo.JPG

I have had the pleasure of building in some pretty nice cases over the past year. I came across several reviews of the Enthoo Evolv and fell in love with the look of the case, but wondered if Phantek was a quality company.  Phantek was founded by a team of engineers and was established in 2007. They made it a goal to be the best in the industry and their motto is “no job is impossible”. Phanteks main focus of products is for PC enthusiasts and has evolved into a product line of cases called the Enthoo series.  I will be reviewing the Enthoo Evolv ATX glass (PH-ES515ETG). Tempered glass is the latest craze of PC case manufacturers on top of RGB. Add tempered glass to the mix and you have one great looking case.  Let’s see if the Entoo Evolv is as good as it looks on the outside as it is to build on the inside.

Ventus Z Gaming Mouse Review

Thermaltake’s eSPORTS brand, Tt eSPORTS has created some powerful competition with gaming grade peripherals for a reasonable price. I have had the pleasure of testing out their keyboards, mice, and headsets all with RGB and quality parts. The one thing that stands them apart is the software. In this review, we will be looking at the Ventus Z. This is the bigger brother of the Ventus X and offers additional functionality making it a very close analysis between the two.  With all the “Gaming” grade peripherals on the market, what can Thermaltake offer to make its products stand apart? Let’s see what the Ventus Z has to offer compared to a crowded market of gaming-grade peripherals.
